Principal
Mr. Glass is a Principal and Member/Manager of Downstream Strategies, LLC, where he provides senior technical oversight and leads the Environmental Monitoring and Remediation Program. With more than 25 years of environmental consulting and management experience, including 21 years as a West Virginia Licensed Remediation Specialist (LRS), he specializes in contaminant fate and transport, site assessment, and remedial strategy development.
He has led hundreds of projects involving brownfield redevelopment, environmental due diligence, and the assessment and remediation of sites impacted by oil and gas production fluids, petroleum products, heavy metals, PCBs, chlorinated solvents, and other hazardous substances. His experience includes the West Virginia Voluntary Remediation and Redevelopment Program and other state and federal risk-based corrective action programs.
Mr. Glass currently serves as Remediation Technical Advisor for the Crosby Harvey dioxin cleanup settlement near Houston, Texas. From 2011 to 2017, he served as court-appointed Technical Advisor for the Perrine Dupont Remediation Settlement. In 2024, he became a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals. He also provides expert consulting, technical reports, and testimony in county, state, and federal courts, with expertise in environmental sampling, data analysis, and remediation cost estimation.
